Sinfonietta Director, Mrs. Nanette Grant

Mrs. Grant has extensive orchestral teaching experience covering grades three through college in Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, New York, Nebraska and Florida. She has also taught private lessons with ages 4-70. She earned a B.S. in Music Education (cum laude) from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and an M.S. in Music Education (magna cum laude) form the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana as well as extensive studies in Suzuki pedagogy throughout the county.

Her orchestra programs have consistently achieved Superior ratings from adjudicators. She has performed as a professional violinist in numberous orchestras, quartets and as a free-lance soloist. Mrs. Grant directed the All-County Orchestra in upstate New York and received the "Outstanding Achievement in Orchestral Development" from her alma mater.
